STARTING WITH SEDAN.TOYOTA WILL LAUNCH THE ETIOS (P) IN A VERY NEW  & FRESH MONTH OF JANUARY 2011.HOWEVER ETIOS HATCHBACK (P) IS EXPECTED TO BE LAUNCHED SOMEWHERE IN MARCH WHERE AS THE DIESEL VERSONS OF ETIOS ARE STILL UNDER PRODUCTION AND ARE EXPECTED TO BE LAUNCHED IN THE LAST QUATER OF 2011.

THE EXPECTED ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS OF ETIOS-SEDAN (P) IS AS FOLLOWING.

THE NEWLY DEVELOPED 1.5 L ENGINE IS EXPECTED TO DELIVER THE OUTPUT WHICH IS SPECIFICALY DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE HELP TO DRIVER WITH LOW & MID RANGE OF TORQUE IN DENCE TRAFFIC.

THE ACCELERATION SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BE CENCOR BASED.
WHERE AS THE ENGINE IS EXPECTED TO BE 4 CYLINDER IN-LINE , VALVE DOHC. INCLUDING TWO PIECE SINGLE JOINT RESIN INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH RESONANCE CHAMBER WITH HIGH 10.5:1 COMPRESSION RATIO.
